Product Overview

Great for beginners to music producing and/or engineering. I definitely recommend this software for newbies and intermediate producers and engineers. Althhough you’re limited to only 16 tracks per project, this beginners’ software has the many different audio effects that any newcomer to producing or engineering needs to mix beats and vocal projects.

If you’ve ever wanted to be a producer or studio engineer and you aren’t sure which software would be best to start, I give my word that Ableton Live 9 Intro is one of the best programs to build from and start your career.

As an experienced producer, I’ve been working with Ableton Live 9 Intro for 2 years now. Ableton Live 9 Intro is definitely affordable starting at $79.95 for the most standard version. I can’t reiterate how suitable it is for beginners.

Because Ableton’s Live 9 Suite is roughly $800, Ableton Live 9 Intro is a better suit for any inexperienced aspiring producer or engineer on a budget. It contains all of the common audio effects (compressors, limiters, utilities, gates, equalizers, etc) that you need for crisp sound and recording.

Also for my aspiring producers out there, we all know how much sampling has taken over the music industry. Whether it’s sampling only vocals or sampling parts from a song, this software definitely makes it easy for any producer to sample and have their sample on tempo with their bpm (beats per minute).

The warping, which is having your sample aligned or arranged to match the bpm to be on tempo, is excellent. Also, Ableton Live 9 Intro comes with many sample packs for drums, sound designs, and vocals.

Whether you’re a newcomer to music producing or engineering, Ableton Live 9 Intro is definitely my choice of music software to begin with. I highly recommend that beginners introducing themselves to world of production,  use Ableton Live 9 Intro to building their career. Of course you can upgrade to Ableton’s more expensive version, Ableton Live 9 Suite, once you get comfortable with your skills and are able to afford it.

Hopefully all of my aspiring producers and engineers are able to get started with their career by using this Ableton Live 9 Intro review .
